EU countries have agreed to increase the share of renewable energy in their energy consumption to 20% by 2020 and at the same time reduce greenhouse gas emissions by 20% from the 1990 level by 2020. In addition, energy efficiency is planned to be improved by 20%. If an ambitious international climate agreement is reached for the period after 2012, EU is willing to go further and reduce emissions by 30%.

Energy (viz., thermal and electricity) consumption plays an important role for our prosperity. However, as the population of the planet constantly grows, so does the demand for energy. This growing demand for energy consumption is a driver of our business. Since fossil fuel resources are limited in terms of ecological sustainability it makes sense to exploit the new market for Renewable Energy Sources (RES). We have been in the field of renewables business for more than 20 years and have gained access to key and innovative technologies and we have access to business relations on the manufacturing side. We have the knowledge of detailed engineering for the overall first design as well as core components of a balanced plant.

The Scandinavian countries have a strong position within the RES sector, which gives us a powerful market position. Our focus here is on the use of wind power, photovoltaics and thermal conversion technologies. We have many years’ experience within the Waste to Energy power plant component systems. Even after a plant has been commissioned and put into operation, we often form long-term partnerships with our customers within the framework of after-sales and maintenance contracts.

We have a wide experience of combustion technologies and most kind of fuels. The knowledge also includes subsidiary system and emissions to air and water. An important part of our work consists in providing the appropriate level of training for the relevant personnel for any power plant as well as in precise project controlling and monitoring of schedules and quality of workmanship. We have a deep knowledge of energy transformation in many forms like gasification, combustion, drying etc.
