The Swedish Embassy in Greece and Invest in Greece/Enterprise Greece Invest & Trade organized a seminar about waste management on Thursday the 22 of October at a central hotel in Athens. The seminar aimed to inform representatives of Greek companies and local authorities about solutions and technologies for waste management that are being applied successfully in Sweden. The objective was also to make presentations of prospects and investment opportunities in the Greek market and exchange views, expertise and experience, and to investigate the possibilities for participation of the Swedish companies in Greek waste management projects.From Sweden 7 companies participated in the seminar. Representatives of the Ministry of Environment, the General Secretariat of public and private waste management and a representative from a waste management project in western Macedonia presented also their perspectives.The conference had 370 participants and the interest from Greek national TV, radio and newspapers where massive.
3th International Conference of Hellenic Solid Waste Management Association
The S.p.N.p. Scandinavian Proxima Nature Project & Co. participated in the 3th International Conference of Hellenic Solid Waste Management Association “Towards a Zero Waste Society”. The Conference took place on 30-31 October 2009 in Athens, Greece. 5th International Conference of Hellenic Solid Waste Management Association
The S.p.N.p. Scandinavian Proxima Nature Project & Co. participated in the 5th International Conference of Hellenic Solid Waste Management Association “Solid Waste Management & its Contribution to Circular Economy”. The Conference took place on 14-15 December 2017 in Athens, Greece. The topic of the Conference was 'MUNICIPAL SOLID WASTE CONTRACTS IN GREECE RECEIVING EU FUNDING” by E. Doukas, Th. Adamopoulou, G. 6th Conference of Hellenic Solid Waste Management Association in co-operation with International Solid Waste Association (ISWA)

The Conference took place on 27-28 February 2020 in Athens, Greece.
